Multi–Position™ MRI

Fonar upright machines are unique open MRIs as they do not force the patients to lie down and hence are preferred by many patients as well as physicians.

Scanning With Body Weight

Unlike other MRIs, only Upright machines allow scans of spines and joints to be taken in positions (standing or sitting) where patients are feeling the pain.

Referral from Doctor

All mri scans requires referral from the doctor and approval from insurances (if needed).

Your exams are conducted as per the doctors prescriptions. After the exam is conducted it is reviewed by our radioligst.


Reports are sent electronically back to the refering doctor whereas the patient gets id/pass to the patient portal where he can view his scans.
